I apologize for this video as I had some technical difficulties in making it and was not able to do some more editing before the file got corrupt. None the less, this is a very basic overview of a CEP and what equipment connects to what. In the video I point out the following:
- Parts of a Centrifugal Chiller
- How a Cooling Tower works
- Location of chilled and condenser water pumps
- CHW and CDW loop piping
I don't discuss all the sensors, valves and other devices that are required in a fully functioning chiller plant, but I will go into more detail with specific controls strategies in the future.
